The date for the event has been changed due to a conflict with another event at the church and the Corporate Cup Race. The new date that has been secured at St. Patrick's is Saturday, September 13, 2008.
We should have sponsorship packages sometime next week and online registration will be up and running as soon as I can hammer out the details with Active.com.
I am also continuing to complete updates to the website http://www.spokes4folks.com/. I hope you all find this Blog to be a helpfull way to share information.

New Blog for Spokes 4 Folks Event
This is the new blog site to help distribute information about the event, keep people informed concerning event changes and give everyone a way to provide the organizers feedback and ideas related to the Spokes4Folks bicycle ride.
This year the event proceeds will go to the Siena Francis House - Omaha and the Christian Outreach Program - Elkhorn (C.O.P.E.).
We are in the process of finalizing the 2008 website and are planning to add online credit card registration for participants and sponsors through Active.com. This will allow us to focus on important task putting together a fun and safe event, fundraising for the charities and a secure way to handle the funds. The traditional online forms will still be available and we will accept cash and checks as we did last year.
